Sounded like Lupin. Tents & all.
Thanks for sharing.
I too want to hear about the weekly escapades
when they’re all home. Maybe in time, William
will bring a friend for 2 on 1 & with Mary.
Could be a great series.
Thanks.

As for what happened during the book: wow, that was a roller coaster ride. I do hope Lupin survived. If he did, that opens up so many possibilities. He could try to assert his right to the throne over Galvin, and likely fail. Or he could simply decide to see the silver lining of the situation, stay dead, and go live a quiet life with Nell.
Speaking of Galvin...yeah, that whole situation with him is suspicious. Stinks to high heaven. If that really is Galvin and not some doppelganger (or even if it is a doppelganger), I'm betting that he's the Liege who insisted the Profane send an army to destroy Uther. All just so he could pull that stunt with the WMD and secure his position on the throne.
Valia...the poor woman. Her mind is clouded, and she faces temptation. She seems to have forgotten about the Star that Noah made for the elves, the one that would prevent any Profane from getting within five miles of the city. If she were to fall to temptation, she'd never be able to return there. She would never be able to join Noah and his child there. That is something she needs to be reminded of, I imagine.
Finally, Bella. Oh, so broken Bella. I can see a possibility where, if she manages to track down Noah and not immediately try to eat him and those around him, he can potentially bend her to his will. She is devoted to him, in a very twisted way, but that is probably something Noah can work with. He could possibly use her as a double agent, sending her to infiltrate the Profane, learn their secrets, and undermine them from within. If the Profane can use spies and collaborators, so can Noah, and he likely has more experience at doing so.
TL;DR, anyways love the story and looking forward to what happens in the next book.
