Cancer sucks, so does chemo. Luckily with the pre meds they give now, the nausea isn't nearly as bad. I am also eventually going to be terminal, but the chemo is extending the time I have left with my wife. Sadly, it's almost impossible to beat bile duct cancer.

I was lucky to avoid chemo, only had radiation treatments (20). Just passed a year cancer free. Do not give up. And yes, the professionals that treat cancer are mind boggling in how they can do the work they do and still remain compassionate and caring.

my wife and i had two small children one barely one year old when she found out she had stage IV breast cancer. She was even looking for me a new wife. We beat that with surgery three chemos and radiation. After a year of cancer free it came back in her bones spread thru her body stage IV again. We are still fighting the cancer 7 years later chemo after chemo lead first with radiation. She is a fighter and we continue to fight because we both have this cancer and we both fight it for our two children. And we both realize she may die from this but we dont yeild to it. And no I dont have a love outside, my soulmate is my wife.

Fantastic story. 4 years ago my dad died from Leukemia so the whole cancer and chemo element hit me hard. Knowing exactly how much of a toll cancer and the treatment takes on someone I had to take several breaks from reading it. The repeatability and being able to vividly see what the characters are going through in this story hurts--something I wholeheartedly appreciate from an author (hopefully that makes sense).
