The olive tree connects Kabylia with the Mediterranean and with its oldest civilisations. We will not let the olive groves disappear.

Since 2016 Axxam n Tmusni has planted more than 800 young olive trees on the hills, until the work was stopped.

Every summer Avuzhayer drove from village to village, supplying families with water and helping to protect homes against fire.

In 2019 the truck was confiscated by the regime. Since then we have been prevented from bringing this help to the villages.

Our villages can look different. Together with students and university professors we researched and tested how waste can become a resource instead of a burden.

One result: olive pomace, left over from pressing oil, can be turned into natural beauty products.

We share knowledge with children and adults in many fields: fighting fires, languages, first aid, planting trees and more.

Conferences and meetings complete the programme.

Books are the foundation of knowledge. A child who starts reading early discovers science, languages and different points of view.

With modern equipment and the expertise of Masin, a specialist in audiology, we examined several children with hearing impairments.

For one boy and one girl it was the first time in their lives that they could hear.

Art is part of everyday life in Kabyle society. It carries joy, creativity, knowledge and dance.
